The Moderator feature is a great way for designated moderators to give a lending hand to streamers. This feature will enable the moderator to control specific features on behalf of the streamers during their streams.
Here's how it works.
How to receive access
Streamers are able give access to moderators in 2 ways.
-
Searching up username
They are able to search specific usernames and give them access right away.
-
Receiving an invite link
Streamers can send invite links to specific users. Once you receive the link, click on the link sign up or log in. You will be given access right away.
Where to find the Control Center
There are two ways for moderators to access the control center.
- Head over to “Mod Center” in the viewer dashboard. Click "Open Mod" for the specific streamer.
- On the streamer’s tipping page, underneath the stream, there will be a “Open Mod” button.
How and what do Moderators have access to
Moderators will be able to have control and enable/disable specific features like
-
Live Feed: check and play donations
-
Mini Games: Select and control mini game settings
-
Live Control: General settings on donations
- Tipping: on/off donations
- Super Stickers: on/off super stickers.
- Uploads: on/off Upload feature
- Upload Autoplay: on/ off Upload autoplay. This will enable the moderators to check the upload before having it appear on the live stream.
- TTS Volume: Change the volume of TTS on stream
- Sound Sticker Volumes: Change the volume of sound stickers on stream
- Mini Games: on/off specific mini games
➜Tip: Once you become a moderator, it's recommended to turn off the Stickybomb’s upload autoplay feature. This will enable the moderators to check the uploads before it is shown on the stream. Once checked, the mods can play the upload if it is appropriate for the stream.
Moderators are not given full access to all the settings. They are only able to control live stream interaction settings.
If the streamer needs any specific changes like tipping minimum/maximum or settings, please ask the streamers to change these under the "streamer" dashboard.
